what can i say about garry mills well the guy was the assembly manager at the former j.w. youngs factory and when it closed he decided to put his talents to good use. this guy is a genius as far as i am concerned.."got a problem with a reel" , he will fix it, nice guy to deal with , he
has done some new feet , handles , re-leading and even taken dents out for me , this guy is brilliant, he can sort out all those little niggles with reels that u have. i cant thank garry enough for the work he has done for me

this is a dealer called aaron day, hes a good guy. he describes his items very accurately and is good with his prices. from what i can gather this is a sideline for aaron as he has other business commitments but he will not rip u off and the item u get will be as described. he also seems to source good items and will not try to hide any flaws etc. i have had a few reels from him and i am happy to say they have all been good, hes also a very nice guy to deal with because of his down-to-earth attitude
--------------------------------------------------
www.vintagefishingtackle.com
this is brindley john ayers , who is a dealer but he also operates on ebay under the name "bjayers". john is very trustworthy, i have had the pleasure of meeting him also i have had a few reels of him too (all mint) this guy is accredited in jamie maxtone-grahams book , "fishing tackle of yesterday"
so he knows a thing or two about vintage tackle.

phillipwaller@msn.com
not so much of a link but more of an email adress. this guy has written 2 books on vintage reels and is very knowledgeable on all aspects of tackle collecting. he can sell direct and sign them for you. these books are an invaluable source of information and its obvious a lot of research has gone into these great books, which will one day be collectors items themselves
as will the vintage reel related playing cards he sells.
